EasterCon 2026 Schedule! Leicester! NetGalley!

Easter is nearly upon us, and that means EASTERCON! This year we’re back at the Hilton Metropole on the outskirts of Birmingham, where I managed to catch Covid for the third time in 2023. Hopefully we can avoid that this time around.

The schedule is live, and you can find me at the following places (well, you’ll find me at other places too, but there is where I’m actually contributing something rather than just taking up space).

Yes, I’m DJing the disco again. As you can imagine, I naturally lean more towards the rock and punk side of things, but I have an eclectic enough selection of tunes to hand that there should be a reasonable mix of things for people who prefer a bit of pop, dance, or what have you. I’ll probably throw some geeky stuff in too, because it feels like the prime audience for it (especially since we don’t have Nine Worlds anymore. I miss you, Nine Worlds).

As always, do feel free to come and say hello if you see me, just be aware that my facial recognition skills are poor so I may not recognise you if my main experience of you has been a one-centimetre-high profile picture on the internet.

However, that’s two weeks away. One week away, on the 28th March, my punk band Interplanetary Trash Talk is making our debut in Leicester, at the steampunky delights of the Metal Monocle. Three bands, free entry, we’re on at 9pm, apparently there’s a cybergoth clubnight afterwards. What more could you ask for? Please swing by if you’re in the area!

Finally, NetGalley now has review copies of This Is Where The Future Bleeds, so if you’d like to apply for one then go to https://www.netgalley.co.uk/catalog/book/812066 for the UK or https://www.netgalley.com/catalog/book/812066 for the US! (I actually don’t know which site you use if you’re somewhere else in the world, but I assume you do)

Hope to see you around somewhere!
